If you run across this page, I didn't have time to document in detail how to install the control center... I'll try to get to it later. Hopefully you can deduce how to do it from the steps below. These steps "should" work for both the Brother Control Center 3 as well as the Brother Control Center 4 software suites.

I will note that the below steps are the exact steps I took to make it work. The one thing I didn't try, was to disable UAC and just install the driver like normal without extracting it first. If you get a chance to try it out and we can skip steps 4 & 5, let me know in the comments so I can update the guide.

1) Disable UAC
2) Restart Computer
3) Download Driver from web
4) Download and install 7-zip
5) Extract driver using 7-zip context menu (right click driver -> 7-zip -> extract to "brother_driver_name\")
6) Right click "setup.exe" -> Run as Administrator
7) Install as normal
8) Reboot computer
9) Re-enable UAC (optional)

Done!

I am unable to use Control Center 4 with my Windows 7 64-bit OS. I tried to follow these steps, but I can't figure it out. Which drivers do I download in step 3? How do I do step 5? What is a context menu? Where is the context menu?
